Backing up your website/blog is extremely important and should be done outside your hosting provider’s network. You don’t want to be victim of the hosting company having server outages and restoring a several day old version of your site. For WordPress sites such as this, doing backups how I have chosen, is very affordable. Sites with a couple GBs in size would cost only a few dollars per month.
