I have been focusing the majority of my learning time, and my time in general lately, towards learning System Administration related tasks on Microsoft’s Azure service offerings. This was a module on extending on-premises file share capacity using Azure File Sync. After setting up file sync services in Azure itself, I then proceed to make sure my virtual machine in Azure is compatible with Azure File Sync.

Once compatibility is confirmed, I use the Azure File Sync app on the server to register it with Azure File Sync. And finally, after I go through some more registration steps, you can see that the registration was successful.
